Dukes Earthmoving, Civil Contracting is involved in many major construction projects within the Central Tablelands.
Our work on these projects has included bulk earthworks to the detail final finishing works, cut and fill leveling of pads, roadworks, large retention dams, quarry development, tailing dams and open cut coal mines. The complete construction of large industrial, commercial and residential developments for established clients including Energy Australia, Centennial Coal, RMS Roads and Lithgow City Council, along with leading builders and developers.
Dukes believes integrated GPS systems are world’s best practice for set out and quality control solutions and utilises GPS machine control systems to monitor every stage of works to ensure maximum efficiency is being achieved on a day-to-day basis by minimising the need for re-work.
The site foreman has a hand-held GPS ‘Rover’ which is synced to our machines and can be remotely accessed from our office to download data from site and upload revised plans. This allows them to accurately see line work on roads, lot boundaries, stormwater drainage set out position and finished surface levels to instantly see how much cut or fill is needed.
Utilising GPS systems allows Dukes to best meet client timeframes and wherever possible, to also better them.

With our modern fleet of equipment and experience operators we are able to carry out a wide range of projects from road construction starting from the design to the final seal. We carry out a wide range of road works from major highways to rural roads from supply place and compact fill material, pavement stabilization solutions, pavement sealing using two coat and asphalt and line marking. Dukes have been RMS pre-approved to carry out major works on the states roads. We have previously carried out major intersection and road works on the Castlereagh Highway and Great Western Highway for access to developments.

We have great experience in the supplying, installing and the commissioning of stormwater drainage from small up to large diameter pipes, Sewer lines including the installation of manholes, Sewer pump stations, main water lines including valves and hydrants, bio retention basins, sub soil drainage and the welding and installing of large poly waterlines. We work with the local Council, mining industry and energy provider in meeting their expectations and standards for the service.

As part of our civil construction work our experience workforce and supervisors are able to provide a high-quality service for the supply and installation of underground power and communication conduit’s, sewer and water lines and from small to large storm-water lines.
